With a mix of photography, graphics, motion graphics, animation and video content, Franki is always keeping The Launch Team on their toes thinking of fresh new topics.
My Franki's period cup motion graphic video was a lot of fun for the team to create! Using the design style from their website, the team began by hand drawing a comic strip of the general video flow, made a 3D model of the period cup, textured the object then got to work on the animation and Adobe After Effects motion graphics. As old fashioned as hand drawing comic strips is, it's a crucial part of the process when working in animation so you're not wasting time. Rendering/animation does take quite a bit of time to get right with no idea on the outcome. Overall, an extremely fun video to make and the branding colours really made the animations/motion graphics pop throughout.
