This Is a Commercial Leadership Role

What Success Looks Like

A senior leadership position responsible for performance, profitability and strategic direction across our Digital division in Australia and New Zealand.

Division Commercial Ownership

You will hold full accountability for the Digital division’s commercial performance, including revenue stability, margin health and retention. This role requires comfort operating at P&L level, ensuring growth does not come at the expense of profitability, structure or long-term enterprise value.

Client Leadership & Strategic Authority

You will lead strategic conversations with founders and senior stakeholders, guiding quarterly roadmaps and setting clear commercial expectations. Your presence in client rooms should bring clarity, confidence and structured thinking, particularly during performance fluctuations or periods of recalibration.

Account Stability & Turnaround Frameworks

When accounts underperform, you will diagnose issues calmly and methodically across offer, creative, audience, funnel and commercial model. You will implement structured recovery plans designed to stabilise performance quickly while strengthening long-term foundations rather than applying short-term fixes.

Digital & Creative Integration

You will work closely with our Creative leadership to ensure performance data informs direction and testing remains hypothesis-driven. This role exists to remove opinion-led execution, increase testing velocity and build a structured feedback loop between creative production and measurable commercial outcomes.

Team Leadership & Operational Standards

You will lead and develop our media buying team, establishing clear standards, structured processes and consistent accountability. The expectation is a division built on systems rather than individual hero operators, with documented frameworks that support scalable, repeatable excellence across all accounts.

Who This Role Is For

  • You likely have:

    - 7+ years in paid acquisition
    - Experience leading senior client conversations
    - A strong understanding of commercial drivers beyond platform metrics
    - Confidence discussing contribution margin, scalability and retention
    - Experience managing or mentoring media buyers
